Why We Started
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." — Isaiah 53:5
By His Stripes was named for that verse — a reminder that we have been given grace we did not earn, and that the way we treat people and their property should reflect it.
After retiring from a career in corrections and parole, I started this business to do honest work for honest neighbors. Every yard we mow, every fence we fix, every cleanup we finish — we do it the way we would want it done at our own home. That is the standard. That is the promise.
